Summer Reading events! Mark your calendars.

June 9, 2017

"Build a Better World" this summer at the library, from June 26 through July 28.  Track your reading for chances to win prizes, and be sure to join us for some great free activities!

Endangered Animals: Wednesday, June 28, at 2PM:
(recommended for ages 3-12, but all are welcome, and who doesn't like learning about animals?)

For our first exciting event, we welcome a Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge naturalist along with some of her furry, scaly, and feathery friends.  The last time she visited the library was 2015, and it was a fantastic afternoon.  Don't miss this one!

Building Confidence in the Kitchen: Wednesdays, July 12, 19 and 26, at 2PM
(recommended for ages 5-12).

Calling all budding chefs!  These classes, offered by a local nutritionist, are aimed at getting kids more involved in making healthy food choices and helping out in the kitchen.  Come make something yummy!

Storytime: Mondays, July 10 and 24, at 6:30PM

(recommended for ages 3-7).

Join us for stories and crafts/activities that relate to the theme of building things.

Friday Afternoon Building Club: Fridays, July 7 through July 28, at 2PM

(recommended for ages 3-12).

Come build with Legos, or join in the activity of the week.  Possibilities include making slime, seeing a robot demonstration, setting up/knocking down dominoes, jenga, cup-stacking, etc. Follow us on Facebook for announcements of the activity planned for any given day.

Contact the library at or (856) 783-0602 to sign up, or to get more information about our programs.
