Endangered Animal Program

June 30, 2017

We definitely are ready to Build a Better World this year!  Our Summer Reading Program for 2017 kicked off with a great event on Wednesday, June 28.  Thank you so much to the Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge for coming to our library, for discussing endangered animals in New Jersey with us, and introducing us to some amazing friends.  We got to meet a corn snake, a peregrine falcon, and a barred owl, and learned a lot about how their populations are faring in our state.  (We also learned a bit about the falcon poop splash zone--but it's all good!)

Here are a few pictures from this week's program.  Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge is a fantastic facility, and it's right around the corner in Medford NJ; we highly recommend taking the time to visit!
