Ancestry at the library!

December 7, 2018

Are you thinking about learning more about your heritage?  We are very excited to announce that we now offer Ancestry in our library!  You can access Ancestry using any of our library computers.

Here are just a few things you can search within the over 10,000 collections on Ancestry:

  • U.S. Census records

  • Birth, Marriage and Death reconds

  • U.S. border crossing records and ship passenger lists

  • Military service records, including draft registration cards, awards, and soldier listings for wars dating back to the Colonial Revolution!

We invite you to visit the library and dive into this fascinating new research resource!

Ancestry is provided through a grant from the Florence Taylor Tischler and Nathaniel Tischler Memorial Fund of the New Jersey State Library, an affiliate of Thomas Edison State University.
