Announcing TumbleBooks at Stratford Library!

December 17, 2018

We are so excited to announce that our library has just added a subscription to TumbleBooks

Are you looking for an easy way to get your tech-savvy kids into reading over Christmas break? Try Tumblebooks!  The TumbleBook Library is a collection of online books for children, including animated talking picture books and read-along chapter books.  They are a great way to get kids reading and help build their confidence.  The collection includes books in Spanish and French, as well as non-fiction books and puzzles and games.

TumbleBooks can be read on any computer, and they also are accessible on android and Apple devices (iPhone and iPad) if you download their handy app.  You can access our TumbleBooks collection by clicking on the links in this post, or go to, and enter the username stratfordnj and the password libra.

If you have any questions about using our TumbleBooks collection, please contact the Assistant Director at the library by email or phone.

Our subscription to TumbleBooks was purchased with a grant from the Florence Taylor Tischler and Nathaniel Tischler Memorial Fund of the New Jersey State Library, an affiliate of Thomas Edison State University.
