This summer, Stratford Public Library is having summer reading programs for both children and adults! When you visit the library, please see staff to sign up for either program.

Everyone will receive materials to log their number of books read until Labor Day on September 1, 2025. There’s no registration deadline; join any time!

Book Clubs

The Classic Paperback Romance Book Club is an adult summer club for lovers of the pocket-sized classic romance novels a la Eloisa James, Beverly Jenkins, Julia Quinn, Suzanne Enoch, and more! Stop by the paperback section at the library to select the picks for this summer! This laid-back book club give romance readers a chance to talk about their current reads with likeminded individuals.

The Science Fiction book club is for adults to chat about their favorite sci-fi books! The first meeting is July seventeenth at 5:00 pm to chat about your book club pick.
